This Is Why You Must Ignore Chelsea Offer, Arsenal Legend Advises Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal Star player Aaron Ramsey has been advised by former Arsenal player to renew his contract with the Gunners amid interest from the Blues.

The Welshman was linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window but the Gunners failed to accept offers from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Though, both clubs have cooled their desire to work with the experienced midfielder, reports still claim that Ramsey’s future with the North London club remains unclear.

However, former Arsenal player Paul Merson has told the player to remain at the Emirates Stadium beyond this season for the sake of his career.

“He should just sign now. I thought Chelsea might come in for him,” Merson confessed

According to him while speaking with Sky Sports, Ramsey need to be under Unai Emery for more seasons, should he desire to have regular game-time.

He suggested that the player would only be used in handful of matches, should he move to either United or Chelsea in the coming season.

“He plays every week for Arsenal. He could go elsewhere and might play 15 games.”he said

Ramsey is the longest player in Emery’s squad since Jack Wilshere departed the club and he is one of the five stand-in captains in the team.

The player has a year left in his contract with the team and Arsenal are doing everything in their power to ensure his sign new contract before the end of this year.
