The Premier League is a week old, fans and managers have seen their new signings play for their respective clubs.

However, some debutants were awesome for their new clubs while some were far from impressive.

We shall be listing top four players who were most impressive while playing for their new clubs during the first round of matches in the League.

* Jorginho (Chelsea)

The former Napoli star was listed in Sarri’s starting lineup alongside world Cup winner N’Golo Kante and rejuvenated England international Ross Barkley at the middle of the pitch.

The Italian was lively throughout the encounter as he never stopped tormenting Huddersfield’s defenders with his untiring runs and trademark passes.

The Premier League debutant, who joined the Blues for £50m from Napoli, marked his presence on the pitch with a well-taken and sublime spot kick which wowed pundits, football lovers, especially the Blues faithful.

* Naby Keita ( Liverpool)

The young Guinean midfielder joined the Reds from RB Leipzig for £48m this summer after 12 months of delay.

However, the player proves he is worth waiting for as he was awesome for the Reds, making the Hammers defenders struggle with his mind-blowing performance from start to finish.

Though he wasn’t on the scorer’s list, the former Leipzig midfielder was a handful for the Hammers to handle.

He is finally the perfect man to replace Philippe Coutinho at Anfield Stadium.

He will surely be influential for the Red this season if they must win their first silverware under Jurgen Klopp.
