This Is Where Liverpool Will Finish This Season – 2
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is still searching for his first silverware as the Reds manager and that could happen this season.
The German tactician came close to winning his first trophy last season when they face Real Madrid in last season’s UEFA Champions League final match but they were unfortunately defeated 3-1 by the Galacticos.
However, the Merseyside club will have nothing at the back of their mind this season but to win a major trophy by the end of this campaign.
The Reds could finally end their trophy drought this season because of the following facts
Mohammed Salah’s Blistering Form
Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah was a revelation for the Reds throughout last season having scored more than 40 goals in all competitions.
The striker, who joined the Anfield Stadium outfits from Roma was in awesome form during the 2017-18 season, as helped the team to a fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
The Reds would definitely stand a chance of winning the League this season, should the former Real Madrid target maintain his form during the new season.
Klopp’s Reinforcement
If there is any manager who spent much during the summer window, that would be Jurgen Klopp.
The manager was busy throughout the transaction period as he was able to complete his move for four world-class players.
Xherdan Shaqiri, Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita all joined the Merseyside club this summer, ready to play a huge role to help the manager win his first trophy as Liverpool boss.
