Chelsea to send young France international Kurt Zouma on loan for the second consecutive season.

The defender wasn’t part of Sarri’s team that travelled to Australia for their pre-season tour due to injury.

Having returned from his short-term injury, the player is presently at the Cobham training ground with the rest of his teammates as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Despite training under Sarri’s watch, Zouma appears not to be in the Manager’s plan for next season and he could be shown the exit door before the end of the summer window.

According to the Daily Mirror, Everton manager Marco Silva is looking at the prospect of signing the Frenchman on loan as he hopes to reinforce his defensive unit in the coming season.

The Toffees are facing some injury crisis at the back of the pitch as Mason Holgate is injured and he will be out of action for some weeks.

The former Watford boss is reportedly keen on the player’s signature due to his ruggedness and physical presence.

However, Silva might need to compete with Galatasaray and Fiorentina for his services, this is because both clubs have earlier shown their urge to lure him to their respective clubs.

The Turkish giants were linked with his signature in May while Serie A club Torino were said to have made an enquiry about his availability in June but none of them could convince the Blues with their offers.

Zouma spent last season on loan at Stoke but he couldn’t help the Potters avoid relegation to the Championship League.
