Unlike recent reports, Julien Laurens told ESPN that Paul Pogba is happy to stay with Manchester United.
The ESPN reporter recently reported that Pogba wants to join Barcelona with his agent Mino Raiola, who after his triumphant this summer, when France won the World Cup in Russia, wanted to make noise about the player.
Pogba played a pivotal role in this team and acted as leader for many of the younger players in Didier Deschamps’ team.
It is believed that his relationship with United manager Jose Mourinho could be bitter, contributing to stories that the Frenchman is unhappy at Old Trafford.
But luckily this does not seem to be the case anymore.
Pogba has a lot of unfinished business with United and before he leaves the club, it’s only fair to expect him to drive us to victory in the Premier League after all the money he has cost.
Not that anyone could accuse Pogba of costing a considerable amount of money, the player knows what is expected of him.L
leaving for Catalonia after winning the World Cup leaves a bad taste in many people.
Barcelona has been reported to offer player plus cash for the Manchester United star but so far no official bid has been made and there has been no statements from both camps.
Pogba has not shown any interest to play for the Catalonia side and chances of him leaving for Spain are very slim.
EPL: Big shock as Solskjaer changes United’s transfer plans
There is no doubt that Man United fans will be left disappointed at this time following the recent statement credited to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on what to expect in the next few days left in the transfer market.
Man United struggled to defeat Brighton on Saturday with a nasty performance wich also exposed their defensive lapses but after the game, Ole Gunnar Soslkajer stated that there is no need for the club to bring in new defenders.
According to him, the Red Devils have too many centre-half and they will all be given the opportunity this season with much training work needed to be done to improve them.

He noted that Eric Bailly is available for the team and the issue is to get everyone in good shape and not to bring in new defenders as expected by the fans.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer added that his team have struggled because of individual mistakes and that needed to be corrected instead of rushing to the market for some buys.
This is against the opinions of a number of pundits that have consistently claimed that the Red Devils must bring in a quality centre-half if they must be title challengers this season.
Of course, the fans will be left dejected at this point, knowing that the team might struggle throughout the season.
EPL: Arsenal take another big step in chase of their long-term target
North London outfit Arsenal are keen on the signature of their long-term target, Houssem Aouar and they are reported to be preparing an improved bid that would be submitted to French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.
Houssem Aouar has been the target for the Gunners for the past months and there has not been any breakthrough with both clubs failing to agree on a fee.
The Gunners had earlier proposed a swap deal involving Matteo Guendouzi but that was rejected by the French Ligue 1 outfit. A recent bid of £32 million was also submitted for Houssem Aouar and it was rejected as well.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that the North London outfit are keen on the signature of Houssem Aouar but their bid is far from what they demand the player, adding that the midfielder will have to remain with the club this season.
However, football.london has reported that the Gunners are now preparing a higher bid that could convince Lyon into releasing Houssem Aouar before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to the report, Arsenal will now submit an offer of £36.5 million and £9 million add-ons with the hope that a deal will be concluded as the player has already agreed to join the North London club.
EPL: Should Arsenal have any worry over bid to sell players?
One thing that has been most talked about is the fact that the North London outfit Arsenal will sell some players to be able to bring in new ones but that has not happened as expected.
So far, the Gunners have only earned £20 million from the sale of Emi Martinez while a number of names that have been listed as part of those to leave the club are yet to seal any deal with their suitors.
The North London outfit have already secured the signature of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes from Chelsea and Lille respectively but they still have other targets but cannot buy because of the lack of funds.

It is understood that the club must sell before they can bring in their remaining targets. However, efforts to sell Lucas Torreira seem to have suffered a setback as one of his suitors has backed out of the deal.
Italian Serie A outfit Torino are one of the suitors alongside Fiorentina and Atletico Madrid but the club has stepped down their interest with the claim that Lucas Torreira is expensive for the club to buy.
This means the option of selling the former Sampdoria midfielder has been limited to two but Atletico Madrid still remains a favoured destination as talks are still ongoing between the two clubs.
EPL: Arsenal bid for £250,000-a-week star still on cards
All hope is not lost for Arsenal in chase of Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho with reports that manager Mikel Arteta is still making moves to bring him to the Emirates Stadium on loan.
The Brazilian international spent last season on loan with German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich and he is now returned to Barcelona after being convinced by new manager Ronald Koeman.
However, there is expected to be some shake off in the Catalans team with a number of players including Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic while a number of names are still being mentioned.

This development has not gone down with the club’s star player Lionel Messi who has spoken out and that is expected to cause a shaking in the club, a situation that could force some players out of the team.
The Gunners are reportedly hoping to take advantage of the situation and bring in Philippe Coutinho who could also be unsettled as his future at Camp Nou is still uncertain.
It is understood that manager Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Philippe Coutinho and he could take advantage of the club’s relationship with his agent to bring him to the Emirates Stadium this summer transfer window.
EPL: Man United and Arsenal could still battle for this defender
Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stated that his club will not move in for a new defender, insisting that he has several of them at the club after their slim 3-2 win against Brighton on Saturday.
This is against the advice to him by pundits and former players to bring in quality and experienced defender to the club if he must compete for titles this season.
However, the Red Devils manager might be forced to have a rethink, especially as it is reported that Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has been made available this summer transfer window.

Barcelona’s new manager Ronald Koeman looks to rebuild his team and that will see a number of players leave the club, including Samuel Umtiti who is on the radar of a number of teams including Inter Milan, Rennes, and Lyon.
With claims that he could be available for a cheaper fee, Man United could take advantage of that to secure a partner for Harry Maguire to mend the shaky defence.
Arsenal have also made some defensive additions and are reported to sell some of their centre-back to e able to create space in the team but that will also not stop them from taking the chances of having an experienced defender like the Frenchman.
EPL: Arsenal mentioned as likely destination for 33-year-old
English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been mentioned by some reports as part of the likely destination for Sami Khedira who is believed to be available on a cheap fee.
The option for the North London outfit this summer window is Houssem Aouar but there have been difficulty in agreeing on a deal with French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon as they cannot meet his asking price.
With Sami Khedira set to leave the Bianconeri this summer window, his age might not be an issue as he will give Arsenal his experience and defensive discipline to help challenge bigger teams in the Premier League.

- EPL: Man United blasted for failing to take THESE big summer opportunities
The only reason why Sami Khedira is being suggested to Arsenal is for the fact that they lack the financial strength to bring in their major targets while time is also running out on them.
However, it is very unlikely that manager Mikel Arteta will seek to work with Sami Khedira because of his age as the style of the Spanish boss fits into younger players.
Sami Khedira has been a long-term target for the North London outfit. It would be recalled that former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger made several attempts to land the Germany international but was unable to win his chase.
EPL: 27-year-old Man United might be heading to Tottenham
North London outfit Tottenham are reported to be keen on the signature of Man United player Jesse Lingard as they plan to submit a big-money offer before the summer transfer window ends.
Tottenham recently confirmed the signature of two Man United targets, Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon and they seem not willing to sop at that as they are hoping to land Jesse Lingard from Man United.
Daily Star reports that manager Jose Mourinho is interested in working with Jesse Lingard again, as the player was one of his favourites during his reign as the manager in the Old Trafford.

It is understood that Jesse Lingard has fallen down the pecking order in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team and the club does not seem ready to hand him a new contract with his current deal expected to run out in the next summer window.
The Red Devils could take advantage of this to cash in from his sale as long as the North London club can submit a luring offer to get the service of the England international.
With Man United struggling to deliver good performances this season, they could be forced to earn £30 million from Jesse Lingard’s sale to be able to sanction other deals.
EPL: Man United to lose La Liga No.11 forward to Liverpool
The English Premier League defending champions Liverpool seem not to be done with the summer transfer window as they are reported to be planning to hijack Man United’s bid for the service of Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele.
Ousmane Dembele has continued to be linked away from the Spanish giants to the English Premier League but there are claims that Barcelona are not willing to let him go.
Both Man United and Arsenal have been linked with Ousmane Dembele in the past but none have been able to win his signature.

Man United will hope to land Ousmane Dembele as a replacement for their top target Jadon Sancho as they cannot meet the fee for the Borussia Dortmund player.
However, the Red Devils could make a move for the Barcelona man who has struggled to make a mark at Camp Nou since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
While the quality of the French forward is known to all clubs, but his injury situation that has been consistent and contributed to his inability to make a mark in Barcelona could scare suitors away.
Howbeit, Liverpool are reported to be in contact with Ousmane Dembele’s agent, according to Sport, and could strike a deal before the summer transfer window ends.
