Danny Ings is tipped to be heading out of Anfield Stadium this summer due to intense competition for a place in Liverpool’s striking department.
The Reds were awesome at the final third of the pitch throughout last season with their front three — Mane, Firmino and Salah — scoring more than 55 goals among them.
Their breathtaking form made it hard for Ings and other strikers in the team to get regular action under Jurgen Klopp last season.
However, the 26-year-old has told the German manager his intention to leave the club this week as he seeks for a new clubs where he would be guaranteed more game in the League next season.
There are lots of clubs vying for his signature but Newcastle are reportedly leading the park.
Though Lee Ryder, who works with the Chronicle publication, suggested that the Magpies haven’t made any bid for his signature, bookmakers are claiming that the St James’ Park outfits are on the verge of signing the striker.
Betway’s Alan Alger claimed that injuries were responsible for Ings’ unproductive spell at Anfield and the player could be heading to Newcastle to rejuvenate his career next season.
