Marcos Rojo And Anthony Martial Faces Huge Uncertainty Over Future
Manchester United stars Anthony Martial and Marcos Rojo have uncertain futures at Old Trafford ahead of the coming season as they were dropped from Mourinho’s squad to Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils moved out of Singapore as they travelled to the Allianz Arena stadium where they face Bayern Munich in their last pre-season tour before the start of the 2018-19 season.
Marcos Rojo, who has been with the club since the start of the pre-season tour, left the team’s camp without permission from José Mourinho’s.
Though the player is back to the team, Mourinho isn’t happy with the player and that has increasingly limited his chance of playing regular football under the Portuguese manager in the upcoming campaign.
As for Martial, the Frenchman is a player with lots of pace and tricks at both wings but he faces huge competition from Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard – who are all ahead of him in the pecking order – for a spot in Mourinho’s starting lineup in the upcoming season.
To add to his woes, Chelsea winger is heavily linked with a move to United while the Red Devils hierarchy are unwilling to let him join top rivals – Tottenham, who have made an offer for his signature.
To further ascertain that both players could be fringe players at Old Trafford next season should they fail to move elsewhere this summer, they were dropped from the traveling team to Munich.
