Ousmane Dembele

Arsene and Liverpool are the two clubs with most signings so far this summer and they are not done yet as they are eyeing one or two additions to their respective teams before the end of the ongoing transfer market.

According to Daily Star, both clubs are in the race to sign Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele as they are in need of a pacey winger.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery possesses Alex Iwobi, Danny Welbeck and Mkhitaryan but he is not too confident on their end products.

Iwobi possess an impressive work rate and his speed is nothing short of brilliance but his finishing still needs tremendous improvements.

Just as Iwobi, Welbeck is an inconsistent finisher, who can’t be trusted by Emery to deliver at all time.

As for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, his team look good enough to take on any club in the coming season but the German manager wants to add the young Frenchman to his squad so as to be more ruthless in front of goal.

Dembele, 21, played a minor role in France run to the world cup trophy in Russia two weeks ago but that didn’t make him less important to the team during the tournament

Since he joined the Blaugranas last summer, the youngster hasn’t lived up to the hype, no thanks to the lengthy injury he picked up in his debut match for the club.

The media outlet further suggest that the Catalans are looking to cash-in on his signature this summer and Liverpool are leading the chase after the player. Despite his young age and inexperience, Dembele is set to cost both clubs nothing less than £100m.
