Manchester United And Argentina star player Marcos Rojo might be leaving the Theater of Dreams this summer as he is getting interests from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The centre-back was limited to being just a fringe part of Mourinho’s team due to his recurring injuries and loss of form throughout last season and his time at the club might be numbered due to huge interest from clubs.
The Portuguese manager is an admirer of the player’s work-rate but he was forced to prefer Chris Smalling ahead of him due his injury crisis which has played a huge role in lowering his growth.
Rojo will face a lot of competition from his teammates if he must return to Mourinho’s starting lineup in the coming season. He might be heading to a club where there won’t be intense competition for regular action at the back of the pitch next season.
According to reports emanating from Old Trafford, Premier League new Comer Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to offer the Argentine the chance to play regular football in the coming season as they have made an official approach towards capturing his signature before the end of the current transfer period.
Manchester United haven’t been active in the transfer market so far but they might be forced to partway with the Argentina international this summer so as to create space for either Yerry Mina or Toby Alderweireld — both of whom are being tracked by the Red Devils.
As for Wolverhampton, signing a world-class defender in Rojo would be a great way to start their mission to maintain their Premier League status by the end of the 2018-19 season.
