Liverpool Agree £12m Deal For Simon Mignolet.
Having signed Alisson Becker from Bayer Leverkusen last week, it is certain that some of their goalkeepers would be heading out of the club this summer.
According to reports emanating from Anfield Stadium, Belgium international Simon Mignolet is set for a £12m move away from the Merseyside club this summer as Besiktas reached an agreement with Liverpool for his signature.
According to the report via talkSPORT, the Turkish side are have convinced the Reds to sell the experienced goalie to them and they could announce his signature anytime soon.
Besiktas sanctioned Fabri’s move to Fulham last week and they are looking at the prospect of replacing him with the 30-year-old goaltender, who has been with the Reds since 2013.
Though Mignolet is a very good goalie, he makes some costly errors and that has made him lost his place to Loris Karius who is also an error-prone keeper.
As it is, Karius might be loaned out by Jurgen Klopp as the manager no longer put his maximum trust in the inexperience goalkeeper.
Liverpool sold their third-choice goaltender Danny Wards to Leicester City last week, they are on the verge of losing their second goalkeeper within a week.
Alisson would definitely be integrated into Klopp’s starting lineup in the coming season as he is presently in the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.
