Liverpool Want Domagoj Vida To Partner Van Dijk Next Season.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is searching for a new player to partner Virgil Van Dijk ahead of next season, according to reports emanating from Turkey.

According to the Turkish media outlet Aksam, the German manager has identified Croatia’s controversial defender Domagoj Vida as the perfect player to partner with the most expensive defender Dijk.

Apart from executing his defensive duties perfectly, the player also score some important goals too and that has enticed Jurgen Klopp.

Vida scored a headed goal against Russia to help his country qualify to the semi-finals round of the FIFA World Cup which is ongoing in Russia.

In the same report, the Reds have made an inquiry about his availability at the ongoing transfer market and they are ready to make a £12m offer for his signature.

The Daily Mirror is also confirming that the Red have contacted Besiktas for the player and they are set for crunch talks over his future.

The Reds were awesome throughout last season and they are aiming to repeat such feats in the upcoming season and they want to upgrade every department of their team before the start of the season.

After signing Fabinho and Keita earlier this month, Klopp has shifted his attention to upgrading his defensive setup before the end of the transfer period.
