Chelsea youngster Jeremie Boga wants to end his nine years stay at Stamford Bridge this summer if he won’t be guaranteed of much playing time in the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old full-back joined the Blues in 2009 but failed to impress throughout his stay at the club, though, he wasn’t given any chance to prove his quality.
He made his debut appearance last season against Swansea when he came on to fill the void created by Gary Cahill’s Red card during the encounter.
Having made his official debut for the Blues, many thought that was the beginning of many appearance to come, but it wasn’t so as he didn’t get further opportunity to represent the first-team squad.
Despite not being able break into Chelsea’s first-team squad, the West London outfits didn’t sell him outrightly but they loaned him out on different occasions.
The Ivorian had a loan spell with different clubs – including La Liga side Granada, Ligue 1 side Rennes and recently Birmingham.
At Birmingham City, the youngster played the total of 31 matches, scoring some goals which weren’t enough to get them promoted to the country’s top flight League next season.
Reports from The Mirror suggest that the Blues are willing to send the player on another loan deal ahead of the upcoming season but he has refused.
While speaking to Footmercato, the Ivorian said he is not ready for another loan move elsewhere.
He wants to play regular football with Chelsea or another club are interested in his services
