Premier League giants Tottenham, who ended last season in the third position on the Premier League log, are in surprise move for England international midfielder Adam Lallana this summer, according to the report emerging from North London this morning.
The England international didn’t get better chance to prove his worth for the Reds during the previous season due to the injury he picked up at the early part of the season.
However, the former Southampton player returned back to full fitness but he wasn’t able to reclaim his place in Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup.
Having seen his first-team actions drastically reduced last season, the player is reportedly thinking of moving out of Anfield before the start of next season.
Reports suggest that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochetino is willing to reunite with the midfielder as he is reportedly in search of a new player to fill the void that could be created by Belgium international Moussa Dembele, who might be on his way to Juventus next season.
Though Lallana failed to impress during last season, he is one player whose addition will help bring the best out of the team at the center of the pitch.
Liverpool paid £25m to Southampton for Lallana’s in 2014 but they could demand for a huge price from their Premier League rivals.
