Arsenal have enquired about La liga star.

Arsenal have reportedly enquired about the possibility of landing Sevilla defender, Clement Lenglet, according to reports emerging from France.

The Gunners new manager is keen on replenishing his defensive options ahead of his first season in charge and has already signed veteran Stephan Lichtsetiner on a free transfer from Juventus and the imminent capture of Sokratis Papasthapuolous from Borrusia Dortmund.

Reports from France claim the Spaniard is unsatisfied at his backline and has casted glances to his native Country for more reinforcements amid claims the London club have enquired over the availability of Sevilla’s Clement Leglet

The French centre-back has made over 50 appearances for the Andalusian outfit since his arrival from AS Nancy in 2017 for 5.4m euros

The uncapped youngster reportedly has a 35 million euros release clause stipulated in his contract and rumours have emerged Arsenal and Real Madrid have enquired about the possibility of snapping up the 22-year-old.

Lenglet is a ball playing centre-back and has desirous physical attributes which fit him into the mould of defenders Arsenal boss Unai Emery is keen on signing, as we have witnessed in the captures of Lichstenier and Papastathopoulos who similarly share characteristics with the starlet.
