Manchester United agree to deal for Diogo Dalot.
Manchester United have agreed to a deal in principle to sign teenage Diogo Dalot form Porto. The 19- year- old joins the Old Trafford side from the Portuguese champions in the region of 22 million euros.
As earlier reported by outlets, Dalot already had a medical at the club the previous day , subsequently irking a five-year deal which could be extended to a further two years at the English club
The Prospect though is currently sidelined with a knee injury but is widely expected to return to training at the beginning of next month.
Teams across Europe were reportedly interested in the defender but Manchester United moved in pole position and have now agreed to a deal for the highly rated prodigy.
The prospect is an extremely talented defender and is highly regarded as the best young fullback in Portugal, though his move to England could mark the end of Luke Shaw stay at Manchester.
The 22 -year -old is keen on leaving Manchester United this summer amidst a fall out with Mourinho and the club could grant his wish as they have recruited a replacement who arguably would represent an upgrade to the former Southampton man.
