Salomon Rondon

It is no longer news that the Baggies won’t be taking part in next season’s Premier League matches as they were relegated to the Championship last season.

Due to their relegation to the second division, West Brom’s top players are presently finding their ways out of the team as they hope to play top-flight football next season.

Legendary defender Jonny Evans, who was former United player, was the first to be linked out of the Hawthorns Stadium as Arsenal remain keen on the £3m-rated star.

However, Salomon Rondon is the latest player linked out of West Brom in the summer. According to British media outlet Daily Mirror, Rondon is being tracked by top Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham.

The 28-year-old Venezuelan player has a release clause of £16.5m in his contract with the Baggies and both teams are ready to trigger the release clause before the start of next transfer period.

Rondon was lively for the Baggies in their unsuccessful mission to escape relegation during last campaign. He has directly involved 10 goals – seven goals and three assists.

The Daily Mirror also suggest that new West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is hoping to beat Chelsea and Tottenham to his signature as he hopes to improve the team’s general display during the 2018-19 season.

The former Manchester City manager will face crunch competition from Chelsea and Tottenham, who have both shown interest in the experienced versatile player.

English Premier League outfit Chelsea suffered a 3-2 defeat against West Ham in their North London derby and manager Frank Lampard is not taking it likely.

The defeat has now mounted pressure on the Blues who are on the verge of losing their Champions League spot to Man United.

Following the defeat, Chelsea are now placed in 4th position with just two points edge of Man United.

Frank Lampard has now been forced to make certain transfer decisions, one of which is to loan out goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Reports claim that Frank Lampard is unhappy with the inconsistency of the shot-stopper and would be sending him out on loan.

The Sun reports that Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla are keen to have Kepa on loan while Chelsea will continue to pay part of his £150,000 wage.

Howbeit, Kepa Arrizabalaga is rated among the best goalkeepers in England despite his bad form at the moment.

Sending him out without a better replacement could cost Chelsea another season while the 25-year-old may decide not to return to the Stamford Bridge should he find life in Spain interesting.

Chelsea are hoping for a Champions League qualification and will need the best to execute the outing.

Lionel Messi

Emerging reports from Spain hints that Barcelona star Lionel Messi will be leaving the Nou Camp at the end of the season.

It is claimed that the Argentina international is unhappy with the media reports that fingered him as the man behind the sack of the club manager Valverde in January.

This, according to the report has forced the World best player to call off contract extension negotiations with the Catalans as he will be seeking to leave.

It is also claimed that Messi is angry over the lack of quality in the Barcelona team, a reason that may force them to lose the La Liga title to rivals Real Madrid.

This development has placed English Premier League clubs on alert as they will be seeking to land the star player.

Supposedly, clubs like Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool will not mind the idea of Lionel Messi in their team in the coming season.

However, Man City could have the advantage of the relationship between manager Pep Guardiola and the Argentine international. It is believed that Messi will seek to work with his former boss again.

Meanwhile, talks about Messi’s destination have not been made public as it is expected that Barcelona will hold talks with him to pacify and calm the situation.

Notwithstanding, Messi would be shaming critics who have come after him severally for not trying other leagues and teams like his rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Emerging reports reveal that Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is already making plans to snap up Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea with discussions between the two clubs already ongoing.

The Blues defender has not been a regular at Chelsea having had just 13 starts this season because he has not been favoured by manager Frank Lampard.

Emerson Palmieri has already hinted he could return to the Italian Serie A outfit after finding life uneasy in England with a reunion with Italian boss, Antonio Conte possible.

Conte is a big fan of the Chelsea defender and we will not forget that the Italian boss signed him to Chelsea in 2018 for a fee of £18 million. There are could still be a reunion between them.

The Inter Milan boss has been making efforts to rebuild the team and beat off competition from Juventus. He has, therefore, been busy with buys especially after securing Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, and Christian Eriksen. He seems not to be stopping at that.

Should Antonio Conte succeed with a deal for Emerson Palmieri, he will be the second from Chelsea after Nigerian international Victor Moses. This will help him have familiar faces at the club to make the building of the team easy.

Nathan Ake

North London outfit Chelsea were unable to find a place for young defender Nathan Ake, hence had him sold to Bournemouth after a loan spell.

The rejected player seems to have become a demand for Man City as they are reported to be interested in landing him with talks already opened.

Since the exit of Vincent Kompany, Man City have not been finding it good with their defensive department and will be seeking for all options available to be able to compete and bounce back after losing the EPL title to Liverpool.

Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones have not been giving their best while an option of David Alaba from Bayern Munch is being threatened by his high age demand. The same applies to Napoli’s Kalidou Kalibaly whose transfer fee is also high.

Nathan Ake might be the best option for Man City with manager Pep Guardiola hoping to work with him, having watched him play.

Chelsea have got a buy-back clause on Nathan Ake but that may not be a threat to Man City who are desperate at the moment for a defender.

Nathan Ake could cost £40 million but Man City are positive that Bournemouth will be forced to beat it down if the player desires a move.

Current English Premier League champions Liverpool are enjoying their reign and it would last until the coming season.

The Reds under manager Jurgen Klopp ended the 30-years wait after delivering the EPL title to the fans with seven games to spare. That is, of course, dominance and they have been taking a shot at it for the last two years.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp has raised an alarm that before now, it looked like his side and Man City were dominating but there are already efforts by Chelsea and United to overtake them.

The German boss stated that he expects a four-team race in the coming season, explaining that a team like Man United have made one or two signings and that has helped to bring the best out of the team. Chelsea have also confirmed two additions to their team and that will no doubt help to make them better.

Meanwhile, he hinted that his team will not be carried away with the praise showered on them for the success this season but they will work hard like other clubs to ensure they achieve as well.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is already making efforts to convince the club management to help equip his team in the summer transfer window so they can get better.

Jadon Sancho

It is no longer news that Man United are interested in the signature of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and are ready to make a bid for him.

The hindrance to a possible deal has been the price tag on the England international which the Red Devils are not willing to meet.

With an agreement not seeming possible between both clubs, it is claimed that United chief Ed Woodward is already making up his mind has pronounced a judgement on the matter.

According to The Express, the Man United chief is not willing to pay more than £50 million for the 20-year-old and already considering to forget a deal for him.

It is claimed that Chelsea and Brazilian International Willian has been fingered as an alternative to Jadon Sancho and could even be cheaper.

The Brazilian international is set to leave Chelsea and Man United could attempt to snap him up.

Chelsea are willing to keep the star winger but his request for a 3 years contract extension has been blatantly turned down for age factor.

However, owing to his quality, he could be of good help to the Red Devils for a few years and that is heavily been considered by Ed Woodward, according to reports.

Champions League football for Arsenal is still very much possible if analysis by Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is anything to go by.

The current log table makes it difficult to determine who will make the top four aside Liverpool that have been confirmed as winners of the league with seven games to spare and second-placed Man City.

According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, seven teams still stand the chance to join Liverpool and Man City as EPL representatives in the Champions League next season, noting that the race is still very much on.

While noting that Leicester City and Chelsea currently hold the third and fourth position respectively, the former Red Devils player affirmed that his side still stands chance as well as Tottenham and ninth-placed Arsenal.

He noted that the competition is good as fans can’t wait to know the fate of their clubs for the Champions League.

With a few games left, United will be hoping to overtake Chelsea or Leicester for a Champions League spot.

Arsenal have not been in their best since they returned back from the Covid-19 compulsory break and they will need a miracle to break into the top-four. The Mikel Arteta men will have to win all remaining games and hope the opposite happens to those already ahead.
