It is no longer news that the Baggies won’t be taking part in next season’s Premier League matches as they were relegated to the Championship last season.
Due to their relegation to the second division, West Brom’s top players are presently finding their ways out of the team as they hope to play top-flight football next season.
Legendary defender Jonny Evans, who was former United player, was the first to be linked out of the Hawthorns Stadium as Arsenal remain keen on the £3m-rated star.
However, Salomon Rondon is the latest player linked out of West Brom in the summer. According to British media outlet Daily Mirror, Rondon is being tracked by top Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham.
The 28-year-old Venezuelan player has a release clause of £16.5m in his contract with the Baggies and both teams are ready to trigger the release clause before the start of next transfer period.
Rondon was lively for the Baggies in their unsuccessful mission to escape relegation during last campaign. He has directly involved 10 goals – seven goals and three assists.
The Daily Mirror also suggest that new West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is hoping to beat Chelsea and Tottenham to his signature as he hopes to improve the team’s general display during the 2018-19 season.
The former Manchester City manager will face crunch competition from Chelsea and Tottenham, who have both shown interest in the experienced versatile player.
