Chelsea and Belgium playmaker Eden Hazard has heaped praises on Antonio Conte for his impact on the team since he took over in 2016.
In Conte’s debut season at Stamford Bridge, the Italian tactician led the team to the Premier League glory despite a huge challenge from Tottenham and Manchester City.
Though his second season was less impressive, he managed to lead his team to FA Cup glory against Manchester United to make it two trophies in two seasons.
When asked about the reason behind their success in the FA Cup, Eden Hazard was quick to reply that Conte’s tactics was mainly responsible for the club’s successful run to the glory.
According to him in an interview with BT Sport, the manager is always relentless in perfecting his tactics on the training ground and he was always on the touchline to give out instructions to players.
He revealed that Conte is a manager who wants his players to stay on the ball and never give away possession too often.
Despite winning two major trophies in two successive seasons, the Italian is widely tipped to be moving out of Stamford Bridge in the summer due to his cold relationship with the Blues hierarchy.
As for Hazard, he is one of Real Madrid’s prime targets in the summer but it remains unknown if Chelsea would love to let go of such important player ahead of the upcoming season.
