Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
The Frenchman has been considered as a long- term-target by the Red Devils and reports from Spanish outlet, Don Balon claim the club manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready for a reunion with Varane.
The 25- year-old was signed by Mourinho from Lens in 2011 and was upon his arrival dubbed by the Portuguese manager as the ”best young defender in world football”.
The Frenchman has developed the all-round facets of his game and is widely considered as one of the best young defenders in football, as claimed by Mourinho seven years ago.
The Red Devils are eager to compete in the transfer market this summer and are aware of the necessary further addition of world-class stars pivotal in surmounting a major challenge to Premier League Champions, Manchester city next campaign.
As reported, the club will seek to offer a large contract in the hope of enticing the defender towards opting for a move to Old Trafford.
But, it appears highly unlikely Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will want to depart with one of the club’s young prized asset.
