Chelsea Fans are presently the happiest football supporters on earth after report suggests that Real Madrid are no longer in the race to sign Bayern Munich Superstar Robert Lewandowski in the summer.

The Los Blancos were initially tipped to sign the Polish striker before the start of next season, despite the Blues interest. But the latest rumour concerning the player, according to Sky Germany, claims that the Los Blancos have pulled out of the race.

Zinedine Zidane has reportedly cooled his interest in Lewandowski who is valued at £81m by TransferMarkt. The Frenchman is more determined to get Mohammed Salah and Neymar from Liverpool and Paris St-German respectively.

Having heard of the report, Chelsea Fans couldn’t hide their joy as they hope the 50-goal striker makes his much-anticipated switch to Stamford Bridge this summer.

While reacting to the news via their respective Twitter accounts, the Blues fans are happy to know that they stand a better chance of signing the proven goalscorer, who might be a long-term solution to their goalscoring problems at the final third of the pitch.

One Chelsea fan, Pete(@RealPShava) was straight to the point in his tweet as he wrote

“welcome to Chelsea”

Marcus Smart(@Mauroo_Ruocco) told Roman Abramovich to “SIGN THE MAN”

Adri (@adrizamri) was delighted as he exclaimed ‘Yo!’ via his own Twitter account, hoping to see the 29-year-old in Chelsea kit next season.

Other fans who happily commented on Twitter include Zane (@WalterTactic) and Jagan(@Jagan_CFC)
