Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the uncertainty surrounding Eric Bailey’s mysterious absence from the starting xi.
According to sources from the club, Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho is infuriated over Bailey’s nonchalant attitude, with the report claiming the Portuguese has been left clearly exasperated over the Ivorian’s refusal to brush off a minor toothache complaint and attend the club’s Annual Player of the Year awards which was slated as compulsory.
However, the complaint did not deter Bailey, as he was pictured laughing and joking with his team mates in training the following day . A recent Social Media post where the 23- year- old appeared to have been dancing with team-mate Ander Herrera is said to have further dented the pair’s relationship
Mourinho is infamously notorious for falls out with players over the course of his managerial career ,and the reports now claims Bailey’s future at United is uncertain amid the defender being neglected for the club’s last two matches despite no recurring injury.. The Ivorian’s quality though means he would not be short of offers and it is reported Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs with the situation and if encouraged would be prepared to put through a bid for the Ex Villarreal man.
