Liverpool and Roma are in an intense battle to land Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos.
The two European Clubs are set to face off in a mouth-watering Champions league semifinal clash at the Stadio Olympico and it now appears the two sides have as well locked horns off the pitch.
Liverpool, in recent weeks, have been strongly linked with a move for the Real Madrid midfielder, with varying reports suggesting a four-year- deal could be on the cards for the Spaniard at Anfield.
According to Calcionews24. Italian outfit A.S Roma are also in the running for Ceballos and are looking to scupper the Reds attempts to land the playmaker.
Roma chairman Monchi is a keen admirer of Ceballos ability and would reportedly seek to entice Real Madrid by paying for a loan deal upfront.
Spanish Newspaper A.s, also claim Real Betis are also interested in a deal to bring their former star back to the Estadio Benito Villamarín and would offer a deal that would bring Ceballos back to the Bernabou should Madrid come knocking for him.
Either way, it appears Real Madrid would preferably want a deal that would make them have a final say in Ceballos future and thus seek to conclude a deal with Roma or Betis.
Chelsea scouts jet out for 23-year-old in-demand forward
English Premier League outfit Chelsea are reported to have sent out their scouts to watch Arber Zeneli in his Heerenveen clash against Ajax on Sunday.
The West London outfit are keen on Arber Zeneli and will no doubt make a move for him in this winter transfer window as long as a positive response is returned home by the scouts.
A Sky Sports report claims that the young sensation has impressed the West London side and they are keen to have him join the Stamford Bridge before the end of this January transfer window.
It is no longer news that the Blues are desperate to land a new forward because of the lack of cutting edge in the team which has left the duty of goal scoring into the hands of midfielders as their attackers have failed to deliver.
Arber Zeneli could just be the solution the West London boss Maurizio Sarri has been seeking for knowing that he is ready to get rid of former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and bring in a new replacement for him.
However, suggestions are that the Blues will land Arber Zeneli should as his side will be willing o offload him this winter window so as to cash in on him before his contract with the club expires at the end of the season.

Arsenal Initiate Contact To Sign 27-year-old Midfielder
Premier League giants Arsenal have contacted European champions Real Madrid over the transfer availability of midfielder James Rodriguez.
This is according to the publication from the popular English media outlet Independent.

James Rodriguez is on a two-year loan deal at German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich having joined the Bavarian giants from Real Madrid at the start of last season.
The loan deal will expire at the end of this season though it has been suggested that James Rodriguez could leave Bayern six months earlier after his relationship with manager Niko Kovac suffered in recent weeks.
Arsenal could secure his signing on loan at least until the summer with the Gunners not open to a permanent transfer this month as confirmed by club manager Unai Emery.
