Wilfried Zaha

Crystal Palace Continue their March to safety in style as they thrashed Leicester City 5-0 in yesterday’s Premier league clash.

The relegation-threatened team was on fire from the blast of referee’s whistle as they almost opened the scoreline in the first five minutes, no thanks to Iheanacho who cleared the ball off the line.

They began their ruthlessness in front of goal when Wilfred Zaha opened the scoring before his teammates added to the tally.

Prior to the game against Leicester, Wilfred Zaha has found the back of the net on seven occasions to become the second highest goalscorer for the Eagles this season despite their poor run of form.

His performance in yesterday’s game was capped with a fine assist to further underline is importance and value as one of the best strikers in the league this term.

Having watched the Ivorian’s skill and performance, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to shower praise on the 25-year-old. They also called on the Blues to go for his signature in the summer even if it cost them losing Brazilian winger Willian.

Here are some most eye-catching tweets from Chelsea fans.

HummusGod (@SudaniGod) believes the United outcast has been out of the world for the Eagles this season and he would love to have at Chelsea over “waste man” Willian.

Phil Lafferty (@phillafferty1) called on Roman Abramovich to bring back Lotus-cheek alongside Zaha in the summer. He also wants Leicester’s Harry Maguire

Andrew Graham(@agham1992) believe Loftus Cheek and Zaha would be a perfect combo for the Blues next season.

Other Twitter who gave their thoughts on Zaha include Money Mitch (@_Babs_98), CFC Babble(@CFCbabbleIvan), Gerov(@vanski221Chris), Johnston (@chrisjohns10Jack) and Mendel.
