Manchester United have reportedly joined the race for Brazilian striker Richarlison who presently plays for struggling Premier League side Watford.

The 20-year-old striker is one of the most sought-after youngsters in the world as Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have already shown interest to snatch him from the Hornets when the summer transfer window begins.

According to Sky Sports, United manager José Mourinho is satisfied with the Brazilian performances for the hornets throughout this season and he is ready to ensure he beats other Premier league giants to Richarlison’s signature ahead of the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Though the striker is expressing a deep in form, his contributions with Watford in the early part of the campaign appears to be enough to draw Mourinho’s attention as he scores five goals and five assists in his first 14 matches for the team.

The Sport Journal also suggest that Everton, Monaco and Paris St-German are keen on signing the £40million-rated player as they all hope to bolster their attacking threat when the summer transfer window commences.

Should Mourinho successfully convince Richarlison to move to Old Trafford in the summer, the youngster will have to compete with top players- including Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford- for a place in the Portuguese starting lineup.
