Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly set to snatch France international Anthony Martial from Old Trafford in the summer as his Agent Philippe Lamboley remains mute over the player’s future with the 20-time Premier League Champions.

Having sold Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford last winter, Arsene Wenger is reportedly hoping to bring the 24-year-old to the Emirates stadium before the start of 2018-19 season.

The Frenchman is believed to spend big for the player’s signature as he is valued at £57.4m by value-based website transfermarkt.com.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move out of the club during the previous transfer window due to his inability to feature more regularly in José Mourinho’s team. The former Monaco man is now set to quit the theatre of dreams as he has moved further down the pecking order since the Sanchez’s switch to Old Trafford.

Since the start of the campaign, Martial has started just 16 Premier League matches, from which he completed just eight and was subbed off in eight matches.

Martial’s Agent Lamboley revealed to Il Bianconero that his client’s future at United remains uncertain as the youngster could move to a new club where he will get more regular first-team action than he is getting at the moment under José Mourinho.

Though he is experiencing a dwindling form, he has been directly involved in 16 goals this season and that could make him more difficult for United to let go in the summer.
