Another day another player linked with Premier League champions Chelsea. This time the player in question is Austrian international Marko Arnautovic.

At this point, it is unknown if the club actually come up with the names but according to reports, Chelsea are eyeing a move for West Ham’s in-form forward Marko Arnautovic.

The Blues are well known to be in the market for a new forward before the close of this month’s transfer window despite star man Eden Hazard stating earlier that the squad is well stocked in that department.

Arnautovic is the latest in a long list of players to be linked with the club.

The 28-year old signed for West Ham in the summer from fellow Premier League team Stoke City and had struggled initially under Slaven Bilic but has now recovered his best form under new boss David Moyes, scoring his first goal for the club against Chelsea in a 1-0 victory for the Hammers.

He has now found the back of the net 6 times in 19 Premier League appearances this season, this has apparently drawn the Stamford Bridge club to him.

It is highly unlikely that West Ham will be open to selling the Austrian international this month, however, as he has become very crucial to their progress in recent weeks.

The Blues, however, are reportedly close to signing Roma’s Edin Dzeko in a double deal also involving his Roma teammate Emerson Palmieri and so it is unclear if the interest in Arnautovic will be backed up with an official bid.
