Manchester United are willing to let their Big Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave the club before the end of his current contract.
The 36-year-old centre-forward signed a new one-year deal with the club after initially being released at the end of last season. The striker showed great improvement after his knee ligament surgery leading to the new deal.
He has however not made a great impact for the club since his return and Man United are said to be willing for let him go if offers arrive for his services.
Zlatan – as he is popularly called – was Man United’s leading goal scorer last season with 28 goals in all competitions but since his return from injury he has not lived up to those standards and has been unable to compete with new first choice centre-forward Romelu Lukaku.
The former Sweden international though currently sidelined – as his knee problem keeps niggling – is believed to see the Chinese Super League or the American Major League Soccer as his next destination and he is known to have a number of admirers from both leagues.
Ibrahimovic has scored once for United since returning from injury in November and has made just seven appearances in all competition this season.
