Manchester United according to reports have agreed on terms with French giants Paris Saint Germain for Brazilian winger Lucas Moura.
The Brazil international who has been struggling for game time this season with the Ligue1 leaders emerged as the main target for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who has urged his club to spend more in the coming transfer windows starting with this month.
The 25-year old was a target for the Premier League club back in 2012 as legendary United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was keen on signing the then Brazil U23 star, he, however, opted for PSG where he has remained ever since.
The reports say the fee is around the region of 25 million pounds which could prove to be a bargain for the Premier League giants considering the player’s obvious quality and his need to put in good displays in the coming months so as to be considered for a place in Brazil’s world cup squad.
This report, however, has not been confirmed and it is being contradicted by another which suggests, though Man United are interested in the Brazilian star, the Old Trafford club are yet to submit a bid.
It is, however, a matter of time before we know the stand of both clubs.
One thing has so far been confirmed, Man United are looking to strengthen in attack and the Brazilian fits the bill of the pacey, powerful winger Mourinho has been craving for.
