Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing FC Porto striker Moussa Marega.
The striker, who is also being targeted by Manchester United has been talked about a lot for his goalscoring exploits for the Portuguese side this season.
And according to these reports, The Blues have joined their Rivals from Manchester in inquiring about the 26-year old Malian international.
Chelsea are known to be interested in signing a centre-forward as back up to Alvaro Morata as Michy Batshuayi has failed to live up to expectations at the club.
Marega spent last season on loan with Vitoria Guimaraes scoring 14 goals in 29 appearances. This ensured opportunities on his return to Porto and he has not failed to deliver as he has scored 14 goals in 14 league appearances for the former champions league champions.
These impressive stats have earned him a lot of plaudits and as is being reported a lot of interests from big European sides as well.
He is believed to have had a buyout clause of 40 million Euros inserted in his contract by Porto when he signed from Maritimo in 2016 which could prove to be a very small stumbling block for either Chelsea or Man United.
Moussa Marega is regarded as a very versatile striker as he can play anywhere across the attacking line despite mainly featuring as a centre-forward for Porto. He is quick, strong and good in the air.
