Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard is set to sign a new deal with Premier League champions Chelsea, this is according to reports in The Sunday Express.
The Belgium international superstar has been the reported subject of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid who are looking to undergo a massive recruitment drive in the summer.
But according to these reports, the Chelsea star is set to snub the Madrid club and put pen to paper on a new deal with The Blues.
He has turned down the opportunities to do so in the past but if these reports are to be believed he has had a change of heart and is ready to commit his future to the West London club.
The deal in question is reported to see the 27-year old earn ₤300,000 a week making him one of the highest earners in the Premier League.
This news comes after reports suggested that Real Madrid had stopped their pursuit of the recently crowned Belgium Footballer of the Year, as they look to offer more opportunities to young Spanish star Marco Asensio.
These all come as good to Chelsea fans all over the world as they had been dreading a summer move away by their star player and will be hoping the board will be able to convince goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois into signing a new contract as well – he has also been linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.
