Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala has recently joined mega sportswear manufacturers Adidas to bring an end to his protracted boot saga.
The Juventus star had been with Nike previously and had been sporting their footwear throughout his career but since February 2017 has only been wearing blacked-out boots in what was believed to be a selection process.
For his side’s recent clash against Hellas Verona, he was spotted with a pair of Adidas X 17+ Purespeed boots from the most recent ‘Skystalker collection.’
Reports now say the 24-year old has settled on Adidas and official confirmation is expected soon. This has brought the transfer rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United up a notch as many fans believe the attacker is leaning towards the switch.
Adidas manufacture kits for both Juventus and Manchester United but with the reports that United just had a bid turned down, the news of his Adidas deal is being taken as a sign that a summer move to Old Trafford is on the cards.
It had been earlier reported that Man United manager Jose Mourinho has identified Dybala as a major summer target and has sanctioned a move for the ‘little’ Argentine.
Dybala had been left out of recent team sheets for Juventus by manager Massimiliano Allegri but returned for their last Serie A clash away to Hellas Verona and grabbed a brace in a 3-1 win.
