Deal close: Man United linked with former ₤60million rated target

Manchester United are interested in signing Brazilian winger Lucas Moura according to reports from France.
Moura who was a major target for Man United in the Sir Alex Ferguson days before signing for Paris Saint Germain in 2012 for a reported fee of ₤38 million.
The 25-year old has made over 200 appearances for the French club side but has been frozen out in recent times due to the star-studded nature of the current squad. The club will most likely listen to offers for the winger as they look to keep up with the Financial Fairplay rules after their major outlay in the summer transfer window, the asking price is believed to be around ₤60 million.
While Man United appear to have a lot of options in attack, manager Jose Mourinho is known to be open to adding a winger to his squad after reportedly chasing Inter’s Ivan Perisic repeatedly in the past.
In addition latest injuries to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku as well as the poor form of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the club will be looking to add attacking reinforcements in January as they look to push Manchester City all the way in the title race.
A move for Lucas Moura makes sense for all involved – as PSG will make a substantial amount and Man United will get a quality player in January to boost their squad.
