According to Reports, Atletico Madrid are open to selling winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco after manager Diego Simeone gave the go ahead and are willing to let him leave in January.
The Belgium international has been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal with The Blues last summer trying to sign the attacker but were unable to convince Atletico to sell.
The 24-year old is a hugely regarded player in Spain and played a major role in the Spanish club’s successes in recent times but has been involved in a number of high-profile bust-ups with teammates and staff over the last 12 months.
The manager is known to be big on team spirit and solidarity is now reluctantly willing to bring an end to the player’s time at the club and is willing to do a deal as early as January according to reports.
The Madrid club was banned from making new signings until January 2018 after they were found guilty of transfer irregularities, but have agreed to deals with striker Diego Costa and winger Vitolo who are set to join next month.
The Premier League clubs are set to face competition from German champions Bayern Munich who are also interested in the player.
Carrasco is now returning to full fitness after a knee injury but is unlikely to play for the club again given his strained relationship with the manager.
