Tottenham are reportedly open to bids for their English left-back Danny Rose, who has been a major target of Man United for quite some time now.
The 27-year-old is said to have lost the trust of manager Mauricio Pochettino who is unsure of the players commitment to the club after the player openly criticised the club’s transfer policy and salary structure during the summer. Rose recently also aired his disappointment publicly after being overlook for the last North London derby at The Emirates.
For United, the left-back position has for the past few seasons been a problematic position for the team since the departure of veteran Patrice Evra in 2014. With options such as Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw unable to hold down the position. Ashley Young has recently been drafted in to take up the position in the squad but it is believed Jose Mourinho still wants a more Natural defender in the January transfer window.
Tothenham, who in the summer sold right-back Kyle Walker to Manchester City for 50 million pounds are said to be willing to do the same for Danny Rose who has hinted to be interested in the move.
Another way this deal could go, is the addition of Luke Shaw in a player + cash deal for Rose. Luke Shaw has history with Pochettino after playing for the Argentine Manager at Southampton and cannot seem to break into the plans of the United Manager despite apparently overcoming his injury worries.
