Manchester United summer signing Nemanja Matic has heaped lots of praises on talented youngster Scott McTominay, insisting the 20-year-old is the ‘future of Manchester United’.
The Serbian midfielder has also promised to help the youngster in training.
McTominay started his first Champions League game on Tuesday as his side beat Benfica 2-0 at Old Trafford.
He has deputised in the center of the park in recent weeks due to injuries to first-team regulars like Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini.
And former Chelsea player Matic believes the player will become a ‘big star’ at Manchester United.
Speaking to MUTV about him, Matic hailed Scott as a young player who is very talented and physically strong. He also admit he enjoyed playing with the starlet on the pitch.
“[He] is going to be a great player and already is a great player” Nemanja said.

Nemanja joined Manchester United from Chelsea in a £35million deal last summer and has quickly adapt to life at his new club.
Matic who won two premier league titles in three seasons at Chelsea is now ready to play him former side for the first time since joining Manchester United, and he insists he has nothing to prove to the premier league champions.
