Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has broken an age-long club record of being the most goals in nine starts in the Premier League.
The Belgian forward arrived at the Old Trafford in the summer and has become a sudden hit with his impressive stats, netting goals consistently to prove that he is worth every penny paid for him by United.
The previous record was held by Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton who scored nine goals in the nine starts for the club but Lukaku has now bettered the record with ten goals in the same number of games.
United boss Jose Mourinho has also admitted that he is surprised by the way Lukaku has gelled into life at the Old Trafford.
Lukaku will hope to continue in his fine form in front of goal when they face floundering Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in related news, Chris Smalling has come out to reveal that Anthony Martial has caught his eye in training since pre-season. The Frenchman has shown his quality in the current campaign, netting five goals in eight appearances so far this season and might have won the trust of Jose Mourinho who had earlier blasted the winger for his lacklustre displays last season.
