Toyota Will develop a Land Cruiser for the Moon to explore the lunar surface

Japanese Car Company Toyota has said that it will develop a vehicle to explore the lunar surface associated with its space agency.

Moreover, the name of that vehicle is Lunar Cruiser, and it is based on the exact name of the car here on earth called Land Cruiser.

Land Cruiser is a popular vehicle of Toyota, so that's why they want the same on the Moon as well.

However, The company said they would launch the vehicle in the late 2020s. Toyota also mentioned that the car will assist the people on the Moon in 2040. They are also hopeful of sending this vehicle to Mars as well.

According to The Associated Press, Takao Sato, head of the Lunar Crusier project, said that the car is based on the idea that people eat, talk, work, and sleep in the car safely. So same will be followed during the Lunar Cruiser to help the people on the Moon.

Moreover, Sato added, "We see space as an area for our once-in-a-century transformation."In addition to this, he also said that we might make telecommunications on the Moon, and it will be a beneficial step for human life.

will partner with Toyota to develop an arm for the Lunar Cruiser. The component will help the car to carry out inspections and maintain the vehicle.

Moreover, Japan's space company is sending an explorer to the Moon in late 2022, and the explorer is from UAE. They are going to use a SpaceX-made rocket to launch the explorer.

However, a Japanese Billionaire Yusaku Maezawa had already visited the International space station and spent 12 days there. He is planning to orbit around the Moon on SpaceX's Starship spacecraft.

Shinichiro Noda, the Toyota engineer, also said that we have cars everywhere on earth, but we are taking our cars to somewhere we have never been.
