Paramount Pictures has rescheduled Mission: Impossible 7 for the fourth time

Mission Impossible 7 and 8 have been postponed again. This time both films lived for a whole year.

So, the film "Mission Impossible 7" will now be released on July 14, 2023, and on September 30, 2022, as expected earlier.

In turn, the premiere of "Mission Impossible 8" is expected on June 28, 2024 (instead of July 7, 2023).

Instead of September 30 this year, the tape will now be released almost ten months later, on July 14, 2023.

Even though, according to the original plan, the release was supposed to take place in July last year.

For the company with the seventh part in the release calendar, Mission Impossible 8 also moved - from July 7, 2023, to June 28, 2024.

The delay is that the blockbuster series did not want to risk it.

At the same time, the film industry was going through hard times, such as the closure of movie theaters due to the pandemic.

Many movies were seen on video streaming platforms before they could be released.

Only Spider-Man: No Way Home earned more than $703 million in the US and Canada in this process.

While no other movie released in 2021 earned more than $225 million in domestic ticket sales.

Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have released a statement regarding the new Mission: Impossible franchise delays.

After careful consideration, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have decided to delay the release dates of Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 due to delays due to the ongoing pandemic.

We look forward to bringing cinemagoers an unparalleled cinematic experience.

This year, Tom Cruise has only one high-profile film premiere left - the aerial thriller "Top Gun: Maverick,"

which is released in theaters on May 26, unless, of course, it is also postponed.

The "Mission Impossible" series relied heavily on international ticket sales, especially in China.

"Mission Impossible: Fallout" had $791 million in global ticket sales when it debuted in 2018,

with approximately $570 million of that total coming from sales outside the United States and Canada. Ticket sales in China account for about $181 million in revenue.

But China has been more selective about Hollywood movies.

It allows in theaters, causing many blockbuster movies to be deprived of substantial revenue.
