Google is working on a new Pixel 7 Ultra Smartphone
Google recently released their latest devices, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.
But there's another addition coming to this line-up: A high end model known as "Google Pixel 7 Ultra".
As it turns out, Google might have another new phone up their sleeve.
Pixel 7 Ultra: New features and improvements
This time around we'll see an even more powerful version of the Pixel with all-new features and improvements.
Kuba Wojciechowski said that they are working on another phone codenamed "Lynx" which could release as a high end version of their current line up.
Google's next phone is expected to improve on the company’s current offerings with a better camera and more powerful internal components.
The display on the Pixel 7 Ultra is said to have an FHD resolution.
However another source claims that it could instead feature 1440p (QHD) like previous models.
The Google Pixel 7 would likely have a fingerprint sensor for security, as well as improved Face Unlock.
Moreover, The upcoming Google Pixel 7 Ultra could come with the latest chip Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth chip (WCN6740) instead of Broadcom's BCM4389 found in previous models.
This would be an improvement over what they used on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.
Google Pixel 7 Ultra Camera:
Google's already impressive camera setup on the Pixel 7 Pro is set to get even better with an Ultra model.
Rumors so far suggest that at least one change will be made.
Furthermore, developer Kuba mentioned that the phone is expected to be featured with Sony IMX712 sensor.
While other rumour claims that Google will replace their 50MP main camera with a new 1-inch sensor.
Additionally, The next Google Pixel phone could be powered by a Tensor G2 chipset, according to several reports.
Overall, The Google Pixel 7 Ultra will be an interesting addition to the phone lineup, but there are still many questions left unanswered.
