Garrett Gilbert will start for the Washington football team
Garrett Gilbert will be starting for the Washington football team against Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles will be facing Garret Gilbert on Tuesday night when they host the Washington Football Team.
It looks like starter Taylor Heinicke and backup Kyle Allen failed to clear the COVID protocols, so they won't make this trip.
That means Gilbert will get his shot against Eagles.
Gilbert, will be in his first start since Week 9 of the 2020 season when he starts for Dallas.
In his seven games throughout his career, Gilbert has thrown for 283 yards
while completing 52.3% of his passes with one touchdown and one interception on average per game - an impressive feat in itself!
Gilbert was with Dallas in the preseason, he was able to show off his skills in a game situation.
He completed 56 percent of passes with just one touchdown and no interceptions for 50 attempts.
On Tuesday night, Kyle Shurmur will serve as the backup quarterback for Washington.
