Elon Musk's brain Chip from Neuralink is ready to be tested in humans
After being checked on a macaque and a pig, Elon Musk's Brain chip from Neuralink is preparing to take clinical trials on human beings.
Moreover, Artificial intelligence has been tested by Neuralink in monkeys and a Pig successfully.
They have been successful in their test.
Now the tech Gaint, Elon Musk, has said that Silicon Valley company is preparing to test the artificial intelligence test in humans after being successfully tested in monkeys and pigs.
The monkey in which the chip is implanted successfully is Pager, and the Pig is Gertrude.
Moreover, the company is now looking for a "clinical trial director" to test the chip in humans.
The advert for the clinical director says:
"As the clinical trial director, you'll work closely with some of the most innovative doctors and top engineers, as well as working with Neuralink's first clinical trial participants,"
"You will lead and help build the team responsible for enabling Neuralink's clinical research activities and developing the regulatory interactions that come with a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment."
Moreover, the Silicon Valley company Neuralink was founded with Elon Musk in 2016.
Musk has promised that the technology "will enable someone with paralysis to use a smartphone with their mind faster than someone using thumbs."
last month, Musk has also optimized that the technology would help paralyzed and tetraplegic people walk.
He said to the Wall Street Journal's CEO Council summit that:
"We hope to have this in our first humans, which will be people that have severe spinal cord injuries like
tetraplegics, quadriplegics, next year, pending FDA [Food and Drug Administration] approval."
He also added that:
"I think we have a chance with Neuralink to restore full-body functionality to someone who has a spinal cord injury.
Neuralink's working well in monkeys, and we're actually doing just a lot of testing and just confirming that it's very safe and reliable and the Neuralink device can be removed safely."
But his promises and predictions look ideal, and they usually do not get completed on the due forecast.
He promised that the technology would be implanted in Humans in 2020, but it didn't happen. He said: "implanted flush with skull & charges wirelessly, so you look and feel normal."
However, the technology is doing its best in the monkey, Pager, as is confirmed in a video shared by Neuralink. The Pager is playing a video game in the video.
The company is ready to launch the technology in the humans, but they need a person to do this job. As they are looking for a "clinical trial coordinator.
"They have also told the applicants that:
"opportunity to change the world and work with some of the smartest and the most talented experts from different fields."
