Apple to debut an M2 Chip with four new Macs
This fall, Apple is expected to launch several new Macs with an M2 chip
The M2 is expected to have the same powerful 8-core CPU as its predecessor, but with speed and efficiency improvements.
In addition, it may be built on a smaller node than before for a more compact size.
The latest reports by Mark Gurman claim that Apple will be launching a new 13-inch MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, and 24 inch iMac.
All of these devices are expected to come equipped with an M2 chip.
The next generation of the M1 could be shipping this year,
and there are rumors that it will replace the current M1.
The new M1 chip is set to have even more powerful graphics processing units,
with 9 and 10-core options rather than just 7 or 8 core ones.
Apple is rumored to be releasing new Macs in March.
There's also the possibility that they could reveal a 5G iPhone SE and 5G iPad Air at this event!
