The news that Spanish La Liga has captured Arsenal’s mascot remains a relief to many who were concerned by his sack at Emirates Stadium as a result of the impact of the coronavirus at the club.
The North London outfit made the announcement as soon as they captured the signature of Ghana international midfielder Thomas Partey from Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
The man behind the giant green suit, Jerry Quy has been on that part-time role for the past 27 years with the North London outfit but he will now continue the job with the La Liga outfit.

The majority of Gunners fans sees the development as a relief with @afcKingKieran responding to the announcement by urging Sevilla to take good care of Jerry Quy, describing him as an Arsenal legend.
However, 55 other redundancies at the Emirates Stadium have been dismissed as a result of the huge financial commitment of the club.
The North London outfit now bear the burden of £350,000 weekly salary from outcast Mesut Ozil as well as the new £250,000 weekly wage for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. New signing Thomas Partey will also be paid over £200,000.
With Mesut Ozil expected to leave the club in the coming summer window, there is no doubt that the financial burden will be reduced.
