Maurizio Sarri continues his brilliant start to the season after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the Gunners earlier today at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners were made to suffer their second straight defeat under Unai Emery though, both defeats were against top six clubs in the League. It took Chelsea a late goal to claim the three points.
Meanwhile, this is the breakdown and ratings of how each Chelsea player performed during the encounter.
Kepa Arrizabalaga
The World’s most expensive goalie failed to justify his price tag in the game as he let in of some cheap goals, which he should have pushed out to safety
David Luiz
The Brazilian was awesome in pushing the ball forward to his teammates but tracking back was his greatest challenge during the game as he created much space for Arsenal’s pacey strikers to explore his lack of pace
Marcos Alonso
The Spanish defender continues to justify the reason behind Madrid’s intense race for his signature. The player was awesome while defending and attacking. He was a handful for the Gunners defenders during the game and he was credited with a goal that gave the Blues their much-deserved victory
Antonio Rudiger
The centre-back puts in some solid displays in the first half of the game but fizzled out as the game progress. He needs to improve if he must continue to be in Sarri’s starting lineup
Cesar Azpilicueta
Had a perfect assist for Morata’s goal in the first half of the encounter but he wasn’t in his usual best during the second period of the game.
