Three-time European champions Manchester United have made an offer for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes according to respected journalist Nicolo Schira.
According to the Italian media personnel, Manchester United have offered €55m for the Portuguese international.
It was also revealed that he will double his wages at Manchester United if the Red Devils are able to secure his transfer from Sporting Lisbon.
Bruno Fernandes has been offered a contract worth €6m on a yearly basis which is a significant improvement on his €3m annual salary at Sporting Lisbon at the moment.
His current salary is around £56,000 on a weekly basis.

It remains to be seen whether Portuguese Super League giants Sporting will accept the €55m bid for their player.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to have the deal wrapped up swiftly as he prepares his team for a tough Premier League opener.
Solskjaer and Manchester United will face Chelsea in the opening game of the season for the two teams.
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes was in very good form for his club last season and that led to serious interests from the major clubs in Europe.
He was recently part of the Portugal team that won the UEFA Nations League last month.
