Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defender Thomas Meunier is now the number one right-back target for Premier League giants Manchester United according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
Thomas Meunier is the first choice target for Manchester United ahead of previous recipient Aaron Wan-Bissaka who plays his club football for South London outfit Crystal Palace at the moment.
According to the report from the Daily Mail, Manchester United have made the aforementioned Meunier their number one target at right-back.
Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka was previously the number one choice but the Red Devils have been priced out of a move for the young defender.
England junior international Wan-Bissaka have been slapped with a £50m price tag by Crystal Palace.
Thomas Meunier is the new first choice due to the fact that the Belgian international defender is cheaper.
He has one year left on his current deal with PSG and the Belgian right-back could leave the French champions this summer.
Recent reports claimed that PSG are looking to sell both Thomas Meunier and Edinson Cavani this summer since both players have one year left on their respective contracts.
PSG risk losing the two players for free if they let them run their contracts down until next summer.
