Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun is one player who has gained a lot of followership due to his performances this season especially in the Champions League where he helped his team to top spot in Group G.

He has been linked with a January move away though, following interests from various club sides across Europe including Premier League duo Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Reports from Turkey have continuously made known the interest from the Magpies, who have been closely monitoring the striker all season.

Chelsea on the other hand, are said to be in the market for a new striker in the January transfer window and have also been monitoring the 26-year old Turkish international according to sources close to the Turkish side.

Tosun meanwhile has come out to say he’ll like to stay at Besiktas over the winter transfer window as he targets a third successive league title.

“I have heard about the offers, obviously it is great to know but I still have a mission to complete here,” Tosun said. “I want to win a third successive championship before doing anything else. We will discuss the offers at the end of the season.”

Tosun will have the chance to play in the Champions League knockout stage when Besiktas take on German champions Bayern Munich in the Round of 16.

The striker has been in good form this season scoring 15 goals in all competitions for Besiktas including 4 goals in the Champions League group stage.
