Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly keen on making a big addition to their forward options when the January transfer window reopens in the next few weeks.
The Red Devils have struggled to impress in attack this term and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is hoping to spend his way out of the problem by making a multi-million pounds move for a Premier League star.
According to the publication from popular English news outlet Daily Mirror, Mourinho and Manchester United are eyeing a £50m deal for West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic.
The Austrian international star has been in impressive form for the Hammers since he signed for the East Londoners in a deal reported to be around £24m during last summer’s transfer window.
Since his move from English Championship side Stoke City to West Ham United, Marko Arnautovic has netted 16 goals in 42 appearances in the Premier League for his team.
His form has prompted talks of a transfer to Premier League giants like Chelsea and Manchester United.
His brother Danijel has also talked up the possibility of him moving to a bigger team.
Arnautovic could be a fantastic addition to the Manchester United setup especially with main striker Romelu Lukaku going through a goal drought spanning over 10 games.
