In-form Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has revealed that he would like to return to France before the end of his career.
Lacazette, 27, spoke about a future return to his native France in an interview with French news outlet Le Progres and monitored on Daily Express.
The French international striker further revealed that he misses the stadium atmosphere in France and it’s better than what’s obtainable in England.
On his relationship with strike partner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette said the Gabonese international star is like a brother to him.
Lacazette signed for the Gunners from French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyon in a club-record deal believed to be around £50m.
He started life in North London in impressive fashion before suffering a loss of form towards the winter end of last season and that played a big role in the club’s decision to sign the aforementioned Aubameyang.
The arrival of Aubameyang led to rumours about his future at Arsenal but he has found a new lease of life as the Gunners’ central striker under manager Unai Emery.
Alexandre Lacazette started the first three league games of the new Premier League campaign from the bench and the French striker impressed as a substitute thereby prompting manager Unai Emery to hand him a start from the fourth league match.
He has scored four goals and provided two assists in five starts since then.
