The SSDI checks are distributed based on the recipients’ birth dates. As for July, two payments were sent on July 10th and July 17th. The next SSDI payment for July will be sent out tomorrow, July 24th.
Similarly, VA benefits are also distributed on the dates when the department sends out SSDI checks. The VA payments follow the same schedule as SSDI.

SSI payments are sent out once a month to disabled people. The payments for July have been sent, while the August SSI payment will be delivered in ten days.
Single recipients will receive up to $943 per month, while couples can receive up to $1,415.

When You Will Get Your SSDI Payment in August 2024
SSDI payments are sent based on individuals’ birthdays. Here is when you can expect the payment:
- August 2nd: Payments for those who have received SSDI since before May 1997.
- August 14th: Payments will be sent to those whose birthdays are between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- August 21st: SSDI checks will be sent to those whose birthdays fall between the 11th and 20th of the given month.
- August 28th: SSDI payments will be sent to those whose birthdays are between the 21st and 31st of the given month.
