Netflix has renewed the popular show Virgin River for a fourth season. Filming started in July 2021 and, according to reports, will end this November. Despite not being announced by Netflix.

The anticipation for season 4 of Virgin River is building. The show will likely premiere in May 2022, six months after filming wraps up on this upcoming fourth instalment.

Is Virgin River Season 4 Renewed?

What’s coming to Virgin River Season 4

Hope is expected to return in season 4, but whether or not she will be the same person we saw before her absence from filming most of season 3 remains unknown. She had been returning to Virgin River, but she had an accident and was hospitalized on her way back.

The show is set to bring back Lynda Boyd as a series regular for season 4. The actress has been confirmed in an interview and will be seen in the form of flashbacks. Furthermore, Crossing to Doc Mullins, he’ll continue his battle with macular degeneration, which has been progressing throughout season three.
